Ocelot turned around when he sensed Anne. He assumed she was ready to go to the timber, where they went to talk or goof off. Except when he looked down at her face, before actually, he knew something was wrong.

At first he thought she was angry. No big deal, he knew how to make her feel better.
But when he looked closer, he noticed that her face was turned down, not in anger, but in sadness.
and as he watched, a tear rolled down her cheek.

Ocelot stood there, halfway between stunned and confused. He had never seen this kind of emotion coming from Anne. He had seen angry, and he knew what to do when she was angry.

Don't say anything, give her someone to talk too.

He took a small step towards her. He didn't know what to do or how, but he wanted to help her.
Anne was the only one he knew trusted him completely.
Arcee didn't trust him at all, he wasn't sure what Bulkhead and Rachet thought. Optimus must have trusted him a little or he wouldn't have let Ocelot on the team.
Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Raf, Miko, and Jack trusted him to some degree, but not completely.
At least Bumblebee and Raf trusted him enough to come along with him and Anne some times when they went fishing.

Ocelot made his decision and stepped next to Anne. He knelt down beside her, not saying anything, hoping he was doing the right thing.
Tentatively he reached down, hesitating a little, and touched her shoulder.
To his surprise she reached up and laid her hand on his fingers. Thinking quickly, he slowly reached his other hand towards her, and gently lifted her up to his chest.
She laid her head against his chest. Right where his Decepticon symbol was.
He winced as the few vehicon memories he still had flooded his mind.
He blocked them out as best he could, he wished he could get rid of them. There were only a handful, but they haunted him.

Especially the one when his vehicon self punches Bumblebee in the face.
Ocelot shivered and cut off that memory. He looked back down at Anne and watched as tears rolled down her cheeks.
She was his one true friend. He had only been alive as an autobot for a couple of months and he had known her though all of them.

He would put his life on the line for her, and he knew she would do the same.
he watched as she raised her hand and banged it weakly against the glass on his chest.
The first time he had seen her angry, he had tried to talk to her and she had kicked him out of anger. Physically, it had hurt her more than him. Mentally, it had hurt him more than her. She never hit him that hard again. She would punch him weakly sometimes, but never hard enough to hurt either of them.

After awhile Anne stopped crying, and she slowly looked up into Ocelot's face.

"Thank you, Ocelot." She said slowly.
Ocelot looked down into her face and said, "Your welcome, Anne."
They looked at each other for a couple of minutes before Anne started to climb up to his shoulder.
He helped her up, and when she got settled they looked into each others eyes. The connection Ocelot shared with her told him that she would be alright.
He set off for the timber. Later he would ask her what had made her cry. But right now they both needed the piece and quiet of the timber.
Where they could think, and be together.
